Every night at this time, except those before exam day, I should be already in my bed and enjoy my good sleep. It’s been a while since I start trying to go to bed at around 12 or the latest at 1, and that makes me feel good when I get up in the morning. Yeah.. I’m trying to make my day a good day everyday!! Anyway, tonight is an exception because this afternoon at around 4pm, when I went to my school book store to get the ISBN number of the books I need for next quarter. I parked my car right in front of Starbucks, then when I was about to leave, I decided to get into Starbucks for a cup of coffee; probably it was the smell of coffee attracted me into the store.

Today, instead of getting White Mocha as I usually do, I got a small cup of ice coffee. Just a tall black coffee with ice! I know Polin can drink coffee without putting any sugar in, so I just wanted to try it out. When I first taste a few drop of it, I realized I really couldn’t drink it like that. It’s too toooooo bitter!! **I still prefer its sweet** So I decided to add some sugar, after adding like 6 tea spoons of the sugar, I tasted it again, I still felt it doesn’t taste right; I keep adding more and more until about 10 plus spoons. I thought that must have been enough, so I stopped and drink it like that.

Honestly, ice coffee will never ever taste better than White Mocha but it works better than White Mocha though. For that cup of ice coffee, I only got to drink like 10% of it; and it keeps me stay awake until now. Next time if you guys go to Starbucks, I would strongly recommend their White Mocha, this is only if you are in the U.S.; I’ve tasted the White Mocha of Starbucks in Bangkok before, it tasted even worst than the ice coffee I had this late afternoon.

If anyone wonders why I went to get the ISBN number of the book for? Mostly the books sell in the book store is a lot more expensive than the books we can buy from some online websites, such as Amazon, etc… and I'm trying not to let the book store gip off my money.

HotSpot on Mac

Lyna, Heang,, all my dear cousins..!!

The HotSpot I mentioned a few days ago, it is kind of like the shortcut on Mac that allows us to call some of the functions we want very quickly. Maybe some people call it “HotCorner” instead of “HotSpot”.

Here is what you can do on that, let’s say when you press the F12 key and the DashBoard show up. Through the HotSpot setting, you now can just simply move your finger a little quickly toward the concern on the mouse pad that you set to call the DashBoard function, then the DashBoard will show up. Of course you can set different functions for each concern on the mouse pad.

The setting begain by click on Apple >>> System Preferences >>>> Choose Dashboard & Exposé.

Select the function you want for each spot.

Have fun!!

Winter Quarter Final Exam Week

My final exam is going to start tomorrow... they are scheduled to be on Tues 4~6pm, Wed 4~6 and Thur 2~4pm. Yeah……after that it is going to be my one week spring break holiday!! I need that spring break so bad.

Below is a graph of the relationship between gold, oil and dollar. I don't know how useful it is to all of you.. but maybe it is good to know coz the oil price is now soemwhere around $105 per barrel (1 barrel = 117 L = 31 gallons), and dollar is getting cheaper and cheaper!! This doesn't mean you need to force yourself spend all your dollar shopping or something :))

I had an internship interview this morning with one of the financial industry company. Their office looks very nice, it is on the 56th floor, which is the top floor of the building. For the first two parts of the interview went ok, of course we just keep talking, they throw some hard questions on me, and i throw some back :) but then when it came to the last part which is the Excel test. It just simply makes me feel dumb, so I'm sure I FAILLED! because I didn't get even a single question on that test; they asked me to do thing like how to insert two Zero to the front of a set of a number in Excel? how to convert a set of number that contain sciencetific notation to a string? Things I have never came across before.

Anyway.. that's it for the internship interview. Now is the time I should back to work on my group project and do some reading for my information system class. I've been kind of ignore this class for a while since I spent way too much time working on something else. Oh.. it is time I got to do the evaluations for all my professors again,.. hahaha.. too bad, that interview made me not very happy today.. so don't exspect good comment from me!! that's what im going for after this.!!
