I've been really enjoy my 3 days holiday, going out, relax, watching drama.. yeah.. I finished one set of Singapore drama that has 58ep in 3 days. Maybe it's good and bad coz I got two presentations next week and all final exam in the following week.

These few days I can only feel that I don't want to do anything.. and every time when I'm lazy.. I only try to tell myself that thing will turn out to be fine, just keep playing ;D I'm not sure if this is the right thing to do or not...but human being need to relax and have fun... getting lazy is just one of the regular habit we all have. I think tonight I'm way too awake coz of the shot of espresso I had this afternoon.

Anyway.. yesterday was the Thanksgiving day in the U.S., and we called today the Black Friday.. almost all the store has some sort of big sales going on. Especially.. store like WalMart, Target, BestBuy.... I went to the mall with my English teacher this afternoon at 2pm.. there were still quite busy in the mall, but I'm sure it's much better than in the morning.

I remember last year I saw people start line up at around 1pm on Thursday at BestBuy, and by 8pm at night, one of my mom's friend who lives close to BestBuy called us, he said there were at least 100 people are in the line, and it's possibly that the line extend to more than 500 people by 5am on Friday. These shoppers really wait over day & night in front of those big stores, some of them have chairs. The more conditioned Black Friday shoppers had sleeping bags and tents.. while a group of my friends last year in L.A, California got into the line at 9pm on Thursday and playing card games all night long... Fun & Crazy??

For this year.. I heard that the hot item of the day from BestBuy was a Toshiba laptop for $379. Well.. not everyone wait in line will be able to get these hot item.. they might only have 10 to 20 of them at each store.. to prevent fights and too much confuse, these stores normally have their employees came out around 3 a.m. to pass out tickets to the first people in line. The ticket guaranteed that they would get the item, as long as they check out the items by 9 a.m. Try to get into the store just the first part of it.. but to check out from the store.. maybe they got to wait in line for another hour or longer.

I would say it's not worth to do this at all, even to a person has so much free time.. think of what if you will get sick ? or something even worse like those headlines on the news today.. WalMart employees trampled to death by shoppers. This kind of shopping really involve certain level of risk!!

Ok.. althought I'm still not sleepy..but it's time to go to bed.. Have a good night everyone.!!

The last time I saw grandma was 3 years ago when I visited Cambodia.. I still remember helping her play the card game, but I'm not good at it at all. Grandma definitely plays better than me with her many years of experience in it. Although she was in her 80s, but she is still very clear on what's going on around. It's also been one of my plan that no matter how busy I am, for sure I will go back to Cambodia on my grandma's 90th birthday, and even Mei who never really plan to visit Cambodia since she has came to the U.S. also agree with this plan.

However, grandma left this world to the heaven on Nov 6th, she was 88th years old.

I felt like so many things going on this week.. On Friday morning, I learned that my grandma in Cambodia had passed away once I woke up, then an hour later I took my mom to renew her driver license because she need to do that before she can go back to cambodia. On the way to the driver license department, I got my first speeding ticket. I didn't intend to speed, I wasn't in a hurry, and I didn't even notice what is the speed I was driving. That damn ticket cost $157 and I will have to go to the court for that. On the school side, I scored below class average on one of myexam and it's the first time so far in this year.
