Washington Goes Hands Free
Starting July 1, Washington drivers must use a hands free device when using their cell phone while driving. Drivers will face a $124 ticket for violating the ban which is considered a secondary offense.

Some bank robbery statistics for the U.S & Washington State:

The FBI's Burroughs said Tuesday's bank robbery was the 74th in the state since January. During the same period last year there were 86, Burroughs said.

Washington state has historically had among the most bank robberies in the nation, reaching an all-time high of 357 in 1998, the FBI said.

However, the numbers have declined in recent years, and in 2007 the state's total -- 176 -- was the lowest in 20 years.
